January Sharing Time WK 1

God is the Father of my spirit

Download this picture to print

Long ago before we came to Earth we lived in a place that when we came to Earth we forgot about where we lived and what we had learned..It was here that we lived in the presence of God, we didn't have a body but our spirits were taught, we had our talents and our weaknesses. We looked just as we do but without a body. Heavenly Father is the Father of our spirits, we look like Him and He loves each of us and knows our names. He gave us agency to choose for ourselves. Heavenly Father presented to us the choice to choose a side or a plan, no one couldn't make a choice, everyone who has or will be on Earth chose to follow Heavenly Father. (What do you choose? Did you choose to follow Heavenly Father's Plan or Satan's Plan? How do you know?) Heavenly Father presented a plan for each of us to come to Earth and gain a body. It was coming to Earth that was essential in becoming more like Heavenly Father and to return to Him.

Primary 7, Lesson 1

I'm really excited for this year's lessons and Sharing Time because these kids are going to be learning so much about our Savior and His life between the two. In our Primary, I'm in charge of the Valiant classes and during a meeting with the teachers, I asked if they would be interested in setting aside the last 10 minutes of class to let the kids write and answer questions about what they had learned each Sunday, each teacher was enthusiastic!! So I'm going to be creating sticker questions that you can just print and stick into a notebook for that week's lesson. These will be printable onto the shipping labels (10 labels per sheet) or easily onto just the sticker sheets and you can cut them out. (NO AFFILIATE LINKS). One of our teachers also asked for just a full sheet to print out instead of the stickers so they'll be those too. You could also easily just print the sticker sheets onto regular paper and have glue for the kids to glue the questions in.

This first page the teachers will have the kids glue to the front of their notebooks, just a fun fact sheet and a belongs to page.

This page is the same questions from the sticker label sheet but on a full sheet form. The teacher in our Primary is making an actual 3 ring binder for the kids with these.

October 2015 Monthly Poster

My absence has been due to my husband's finals, the holidays, missionary homecomings, and a funeral, right along with a pregnancy and trying to get stuff put together for our own Primary. Thank you all for your emails in asking how we are fairing!! Your sweet emails have buoyed me, we are doing well, busy, but good. The baby is continuing to grow and we find out the gender this week (place your bets...umm... wait that's gambling).
I will be getting the rest of the monthly posters and the last few things out for Primary this week hopefully by Saturday. Thank you so much for your support and for staying with me during this crazy time!
