Good morning to you all! A while ago I was asked by the Nauvoo Store to do a review for one of their products. I jumped at the chance and I'm so glad I did!
My package arrived and I was just tickled pink to get my new journal, if I wasn't going to keep it it would have made a beautiful gift for someone else. It has a soft leather texture to it and I'm sure a herd of elephants could run over it and it wouldn't fall apart. The one that I got is a smaller size so it fits perfectly into my purse or the diaper bag. Some days I must admit, it becomes more of a note taking book than a journal but hey to each his own right. There is one thing that would have made it a little better and that lines on the pages, which isn't a huge deal but I hate how as I write it starts going up the page or down the page but other than that it's a beautiful piece that will withstand the ages and not fall apart, like I said elephants could stomp on it and it wouldn't fall apart.
Now, the Nauvoo Store does have more than just journals, some of my favorites are the puzzles (my grandma LOVES puzzles), the Young Women charms, and their temple prints. It seems that more of their products are more vintage and rustic but you can see the quality. And with Christmas coming around the corner, I'm thinking of a puzzle for my grandma or maybe a journal, and for a family gift a temple print, they don't have the Ogden but it's what the temple represents right?
So go and check out the Nauvoo Store and let them know that I sent you over so that maybe they'll do a giveaway for you all! (wink wink)

October Sharing Time Cards
This month's Sharing Time Cards may be the same as last month, being one week at a time. Hope you guys don't mind. I'll try and get them all done soon but again no guarantees.
I will be posting the whole month's cards on this post instead of individual posts so check back for the others! :)

General Conference Packets (all ages available)
Dot-to-Dot Activities
General Conference Ideas from Mormon Momma
Conference Wall (I love this idea, I saw this last year and it worked wonderfully!! For my little guy and for me!!)
Tent toward the Temple - you could use an actual tent or build a fort using blankets, sheets, chairs, etc
From Pinterest:

Some ideas:
-watercolors- have the kids paint a pictures of what the speaker is talking about
-puzzles - go to the distribution center and get a Gospel Art Book and turn some pages into puzzles!! :)

Ideas for Gift Baskets:
-small cans of pringles
-kleenex
-small notebook
-activity packets for sisters that have children

Forget Me Not
Were you able to watch the General Relief Society Meeting yesterday? If not, neither could I. I had family in town for my little baby's blessing and so instead we were playing games and spending time together, but today I watched it and am so grateful for President Uchtdorf and the words that he spoke. They were for me I just know it. I wanted to make myself a little reminder of one of my favorite parts of his talk to keep with me and put on my mirror and of course I'm giving you the download also. If you missed the talk PLEASE go and listen or watch it, it was an amazing talk from an apostle of God.
I've also now made a bookmark with his 5 points, download it here

DOWNLOAD HERE FOR PORTUGUESE OR A SHEET OF 4 ** if you would like it in any other language please comment with the translation and I'll get it done :)**
OR
#2-DOWNLOAD HERE OR A SHEET OF 6 - Because of school bottles of glue are cheap cheap cheap or if your gals don't have kids you could stick this to a bag of hot glue gun sticks if she's crafty or some super glue because she's super. Use either double sided tape or use your hole puncher and some ribbon to tie it to the bottle.

Baptism Puzzles
We've been getting a lot of hits from Pinterest!! Thank you so much for all the pins! My goal with the Primary handouts is to help the kids to remember what they've learned so I've decided to take that another step with puzzles that could be used for home use or to put into your Sunday bag. I have some ideas for them but would love more, so please comment or message me on Facebook with ideas for the puzzles and I'll whip them up.
*** THERE'S A MISTAKE ON THIS PUZZLE. THE AARONIC PRIESTHOOD CAN BAPTIZE AS WELL. I HAVE NOT FIXED IT YET BUT IT IS GOING TO BE, THANKS TO THOSE THAT HAVE BROUGHT IT TO MY ATTENTION***

I have the most amazing hubby! Sorry to burst your bubbles, he said after he got home from work today that I looked exhausted and needed some alone time kid and baby-free (minus feeding) and so I'm spending some time with the tabernacle choir and photoshop while Star Trek plays in the background (both hubby and 3 yr old like it)
** The reason the kids are in their "underwear" is so that the kids can draw and color themselves as a missionary.**
