Primary 3, Lesson 24

I had these letters and tags for this lesson from several years ago, but with a hard drive crash and the files being on 4shared, I've lost them so I've revamped and created new ones. Enjoy!

Primary 3, Lesson 44: Do unto Others

During class, go through each of these spaces and have the kids draw/color something that they can do to respect each. If you have time, have some of the kids share.

Primary 3, Lesson 35: Temples and Eternal Families

Time to bring in your Ipod/tablet, put some Children's songbook music on it and bring it to Primary. Play a game of Hot Potato, Penny Penny, or maybe even stop and go. Oh or musical chairs (put one of the ways on each of the chairs then when the child sits that's the thing they talk/share about.)

Primary 3, Lesson 34: We Can Pray to Heavenly Father

LDS.org Primary 3, Lesson 34: We Can Pray to Heavenly Father

Bring in some paint and a plastic tablecloth. Let the kids finger paint prayer rocks! You can easily add Dawn dish soap to acrylic paint if you are worried about paint being washable!

I've been thinking of what other handout/journal page can be done for the younger kids since they can't really write down and answer the journal pages by themselves, so here's something I'd like to try.

Want to play a game?
Try Prayers are Answered Candyland!

You can use these to ask questions, hide the puzzle pieces or put them in a box for the kids to come and pick one out. These each fit on a printer paper size.

Primary 3, Lesson 31

Object Lesson:

Using travel size toothpaste, have the children squeeze out the toothpaste onto paper plates. Then ask them to put it back into the tube. This isn't possible.... This is much like our words and what we say. Once we say something we can't take it back. We can apologize but the mean things that we say can't be taken back and we hurt our friends.

(includes all sheets below)

Journal Page

Here's a game to play!

Primary 3. Lesson 1

Choose the Right

Heavenly Father knew when He sent us to earth that we would need to become accountable for our choices. Being accountable helps us learn to make wise choices. Heavenly Father knew that we would not always choose the right. He and Jesus Christ have provided a way for us to correct our mistakes so that we can be happy here on earth and one day return to live with Them forever. The way is repentance.
When we repent, we accept responsibility for our wrong choices, feel sorry, ask forgiveness, and correct our wrongs. Then we try very hard to not repeat that sin.
Heavenly Father has given us commandments to help us to be happy. He has promised us blessings—happy consequences—if we obey. If we choose to break the commandments of God, then we must suffer the consequences. This includes not receiving the blessings that come from keeping the commandments.

If you would like some games to go along, included in this packet is a good/bad decision making that you put on the wall with pictures and throw sticky darts at the pictures. This is from Primary 2 manual lesson, Dare to Choose the Right. Includes other activities as well.
