Primary 1, Lesson 3

Heavenly Father loves each of you and He has set up a plan.
You would come to Earth (give Earth to child)
and given a body (give out the toddlers) for your spirit.
You came to Earth to a family to love you and take care of you (give the house). 
While you are on Earth Heavenly Father wants you to learn and grow. Some things that you do are go to church (give out the church),
take the sacrament (give out sacrament tray),
 saying your prayers (girl praying),
 being baptized (baptismal font),
listen to the prophet (prophet) and
go to the temple (temple). Then after you have lived your life on Earth you will return to live with Heavenly Father and Jesus.

God is the Father of my spirit

Long ago before we came to Earth we lived in a place that when we came to Earth we forgot about where we lived and what we had learned..It was here that we lived in the presence of God, we didn't have a body but our spirits were taught, we had our talents and our weaknesses. We looked just as we do but without a body. Heavenly Father is the Father of our spirits, we look like Him and He loves each of us and knows our names. He gave us agency to choose for ourselves. Heavenly Father presented to us the choice to choose a side or a plan, no one couldn't make a choice, everyone who has or will be on Earth chose to follow Heavenly Father. (What do you choose? Did you choose to follow Heavenly Father's Plan or Satan's Plan? How do you know?) Heavenly Father presented a plan for each of us to come to Earth and gain a body. It was coming to Earth that was essential in becoming more like Heavenly Father and to return to Him.

Challenge a child to come up and put it in order. Make a point that we came to Earth in a family to be able to learn and grow.

February Sharing Time WK 1

I love what is has in the outline, so I'm adding to it. As you are talking about what goes on in each of the 3 sections you can have the different cut-outs to go along with it and put it onto the board.
For example: Temple Ordinances, you could ask "where does this go?" Mortal life, but you could also touch on the fact that in the temple we perform ordinances for those that are dead so they can have the same blessings.
Handicap children: Mortal life, we are each given trials in this life.
Etc.
Included with the cut-outs are cards that you can also  you to go along with each "phase" that you talk about.

And whip out those markers/crayons! I'm looking forward to seeing all the kids' drawings! I love it when ours gets time to draw the cutest things come out of those small moments. Below is a download to handout to each of the kids as instructed in the outline.

January Week 2 & 3 Sharing Time

I am so excited about the next 2 weeks of Sharing Time!! I love the Plan of Salvation and I hope that you can use my ideas to help your kids know where they came from and they each is important no matter who they are or the challenges they may have. I will be posting two ideas one for each week.

I apologize that these are later than planned, life fortunately happens :)

For this, as spaces, I think it would be a great teaching learning experience for the children. For them to share what they know about each, and maybe share what they are struggling with on this Earth. And as each child says something move the pieces (handicapped children) over more and more and then begin talking about the next topic. There's no winners or losers just a fun way of having the children share what they know.
